Eligible CCBUCC Members are invited to apply for
KENNETH BROOKER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Application Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2025

In 2012 Mr. Kenneth Brooker, long time member of our congregation, endowed a scholarship fund intended to support CCB youth as they pursue college or other post-secondary education opportunities. Since then, 32 Brooker Scholarships totaling $64,900 have been presented to 12 young people.
 

This year’s scholarship awards will be announced and presented at the CCBUCC worship service in mid-May or early June.
 

A Scholarship is awarded to a student who:
 

1. Is a current member of CCBUCC and has attended CCBUCC for the three (3) consecutive years preceding the application;
2. Is active in church activities and any of the following: community service activities, extracurricular activities, or is working to pay for his/her education; and
3. Will be attending, or currently attends, a traditional two or four-year undergraduate college or trade school.
 

Applicant must supply evidence of high school graduation and acceptance at a two or four-year undergraduate college or trade school.

Previous year’s recipients are invited to apply for renewal of the scholarship. This is a shorter form that requests information about activities at the student’s school and other community activities.
